Stuck for an idea of what to get your fiance as a wedding gift?  Consider an intimate portrait session of yourself!  He can’t go the the mall and buy that.  It’s special and only you can give it to him.  I offer Mini Sessions at $185 all the way to The Fantasy Session at $600.   Here are a few images from recent sessions…..

The first two images were submitted in a recent Professional Photography print competition and both received merits in the Woman category. Read the rest of this entry »

Recent Work…

Last week the Guild of Professional Photographers of The Delaware Valley held it’s annual spring print competition and as usual, I entered 4 prints in 3 different categories.  My recent work for Subaru yielded two winners for me.

Two weeks ago, I went to Charlotte, NC to photograph the US National Whitewater Center where Subaru is a major sponsor of the US Olympic Kayak Team and also hosts a weekly River Jam concert on Thursday evenings.  My assignment was to get images of the different sports offered such as kayaking, rafting, mt. biking and climbing.  I had a LOT of great images to choose from when I finally settled on this one and then took it a step further and did a watercolor rendering of it rather than use it as a traditional photograph.  I titled it…

“Watercolors”, of course.  It won the Best Salon/Fine Art  category.

Watercolors

A week before the trip to Charlotte, I was invited to New Jersey Motorsports Park  in Vineland, NJ to photograph a day of practice before the opening weekend races.  Upon arrival, I saw a huge banner hanging across the bridge that takes you to the inside of the track.  The banner had just one word - SUBARU…  I was not aware prior to that that Subaru was also a major sponsor of that event and that their road race team http://www.subaruroadracingteam.com/ was competing.  Even though I was not there that day representing Subaru, I did spend some time photographing the team at work.  One of the images, titled “Pit Bulls” not only is featured on the team’s home page, it also won Best Commercial Image at last week’s Guild competition.
